As a Chief Accountant at, I am responsible for overseeing the financial operations and reporting of a Four-star hotel with 242 rooms and 10 revenue centers. I report directly to the Financial Controller and manage a team of seven accountants and clerks. I am also pursuing the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) credential from the Institute of Management Accountants to enhance my skills and knowledge in the field of management accounting. With over 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry, I have been part of three pre-opening teams and have successfully handled various accounting functions, such as payroll, income audit, credit management, budgeting, forecasting, and internal audit. I am proficient in financial analysis, finance, and payroll, and have used various accounting software and systems, such as Opera, Sun, Micros, and Materials Control. I am a self-motivated, ambitious, and result-oriented professional who strives to optimize the use of available resources and deliver value for my organization. I am also a team player who can work under pressure and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
