Most recently served as President & CEO at Sunovion Pharmaceuticals, and member Board of Directors, guiding the company’s successful development, and commercialization of major neuropsychiatric and respiratory medicines, including Latuda® (lurasidone), Kynmobi® (apomorphine sublingual film) and Aptiom® (eslicarbazepine acetate), that have positively impacted millions of patients’ lives. Guided the approval of multiple indications for Latuda®, including for people with schizophrenia and bipolar depression, leading to the achievement of multi-blockbuster commercial success in the US and globally. Has driven significant global agreements, including the successful in-licensing/acquisition or divestiture of multiple pharmaceutical assets. Experience with multiple industry partners and investment firms to ensure appropriate financing for key assets throughout their lifecycle. Recognition and awards for advancing new treatments for central nervous system (CNS) disorders: The 2015 Award for Leadership; and the 2022 20th Anniversary Award from the International Society for CNS Drug Development (ISCDD); the 2019 CNS Summit Leadership Award.
