About Antony Vega

My name is Antony, and I take great pride in my service within the U.S. Navy. As I transition back to civilian life, I bring with me a diverse background as a culinary specialist. While my career path has been atypical, working in logistics at NCHB-1 and currently in Corrections, I consider this diversity to be a valuable asset. I firmly believe that embracing diversity is crucial for supporting missions, fostering personal growth, and expanding knowledge.Over the past eight years, I have achieved notable recognition, including receiving the Navy and Marine Achievement award twice, earning the title of Blue Jacket of the Quarter, and contributing to my ship's receipt of the prestigious Ney award, granted to the best Navy galleys across the fleet. My passion lies in delivering exceptional service and generating tangible results. In addition to my professional pursuits, I find joy in spending time with my family and actively competing in Jiu-Jitsu. These experiences have instilled in me a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence.Given the skills and work ethic I have developed throughout my military service, I am confident that I bring a unique and valuable balance to your company. I am eager to contribute my diverse background, dedication, and determination to help drive success.
