About Antti Hakonen

I am an experienced architect in nearly all sectors of architectural design phases with almost ten years of construction-related studies. During my master’s studies in architecture, I oriented toward the management of built heritage, which is why I naturally prioritize the conservation, restoration, and preservation of existing buildings over new construction. I am interested in the circular economy and the reuse of building materials, and I always aim to find dismantlable and sustainable solutions when designing new buildings. I believe that through a better understanding of existing buildings and the reuse of materials, we can not only combat climate change and create a more sustainable future but also preserve cultural heritage for generations to come.
