About Anu Jayanthi Panicker

Post Graduate in Molecular Medicine, who is passionate about immune-oncological approach to combat cancer. I have a strong hand in mammalian cell culture, and have extensively performed SDS PAGE, Western blot as well as RT-PCR analysis for my master's thesis. My ability to effectively communicate and my zeal for learning have also been crucial in helping me land a position as a research intern at Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology, where I concentrated on Computational Biology and Bioinformatics. Additionally, RGCB has provided me an opportunity with practical expertise in Flow Cytometry-FACS analysis, mostly using the BD FACS Aria My troubleshooting skills, critical thinking, leadership abilities, and reliability have all improved as a result of these experiences. My 2 year journey as an M.Tech student at the Amrita School of Nanosciences and Molecular Medicine have helped me grow in multiple ways and in-turn expanded my capabilities. I hope to find a platform that provides me an opportunity to showcase my skill set as well as enhance and grown in the field. I wish to relentlessly work to discover and pursue strategies to bridge the gap between academia and clinical settings and advanced immune-therapeutic approaches for better clinical outcomes for the cancer patients. Currently working with the surgical research team as Research Intern at Surgical Speciality Center, Hamad Medical Corporation and parallelly working on a collaborative project in CAM department at Qatar University.
