About Anu Nokua

I’m a designer with deep experience in healthcare and social service environments, specializing in user-centered service design that drives real-world impact. My background spans healthcare consulting, a healthcare startup, design and advertising agencies and academic research groups—equipping me with a unique blend of strategic, creative and scientific insight. Since 2017, I’ve led and contributed to projects that address critical healthcare challenges. These include research into diabetes management, the development of remote services for child psychiatry, the modeling of care pathways for- children with rheumatoid arthritis- patients with inflammatory bowel disease and - those undergoing lung cancer treatment. I have hands-on experience designing electronic services used daily by patients and professionals such as a hospital district’s support service ordering system. Since 2021, I’ve focused on medical devices, helping develop a national symptom assessment management application and a medical device control platform tailored for healthcare professionals, administrators and support personnel. My strength lies in transforming complex healthcare processes into intuitive, visual and user-friendly systems. I bring structure to ambiguity through visual design, co-creation methods and facilitation. I regularly lead workshops with clinicians, developers and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment and engagement throughout the design process. I thrive in multidisciplinary, international teams and I’m committed to making collaboration inclusive by ensuring all voices are heard. At Solita, I’ve seen firsthand how tightly integrated design and development accelerate outcomes and knowledge sharing. While healthcare has been my core domain, my cross-industry experience allows me to bring fresh perspectives and adaptable problem-solving to every project.
