About Anu Villberg

As a person I am curious and always eager to learn new things. I enjoy problem solving and finding practical solutions. In the working life I value personal development opportunities, opportunities to make a difference, focusing on quality, fairness, autonomy and a pleasant and encouraging working athmosphere. I am both rational and spontaneous and this flexibility makes it easy to switch from one task or project to another and to accept changes in plans. I absorb new concepts quickly. I would describe myself as a realist who gets things done. New possibilities excite me and variability keeps me motivated in day-to-day work.Previous working experience- Elemental analysis (ICP-OES & ICP-MS)- Research and method development- Validation procedures in an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory- Food Authenticity - developing analytical methods to detect food fraud and to ensure traceabilityOther skills- Written communication (report writing, summarising information into emails, making lists etc.)- Learning new languages comes easy for me- Good basic IT-skills (digital native)- Critical thinking- Researching topics and information retrieval- Project oriented working approach.I usually adjust fast into the working community and adapt to new roles and assignments. I value working alongside skilled co-workers and listening to their experience based tips as there is usually tacit knowledge hiding around that is hard to learn through formal education.
