About Anuj Shah

I am pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Film, Television, and Digital Production, set to graduate in May 2025. I have been interning at Fast Friends since January 2025, gaining hands-on industry experience in developing and executing branding and marketing strategies for emerging music artists. Additionally, I continue to work as a freelance music producer, independently releasing original music across multiple platforms. Currently, I'm expanding my knowledge of the entertainment industry through lectures, discussions, and Q&A with industry professionals as part of the Media Industries and Culture Production class. I am exploring the tools and innovations shaping the media industry as part of the Digital Technology in LA class. As part of my Public Relations Campaign class, I am collaborating with a real celebrity to strategically develop and enhance their brand in alignment with their chosen cause. I have developed skills in camera operation, audio leveling, and video editing and am proficient in industry-standard software such as Adobe Audition, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and Pro Tools enabling me to produce high-quality content efficiently. As part of the Advanced Collaborative Workshop - Double Exposure course, I worked with students of sound, cinematography, and music composition to create a short film to be exhibited publicly at Indiana University. I wrote the script, directed, casted, filmed, and allocated all jobs on the crew. For the Motion Picture Production Project, I was responsible for campus wide recruitment of talent for photo and video shoots with the Bolex Reflex 16mm camera and analog light meter. I floor-directed a live talk show skit for my Multi-Camera Final Project, coordinating with the control room to give live cues, adjust the set, and direct actors. I directed a short film for my Intro to Single-Camera project, overseeing concept development, script collaboration, set design, costumes, props, task delegation, and editing feedback. My Screenwriting coursework has sharpened my skills in screenplay writing and script coverage, enabling me to analyze industry film and TV scripts effectively.
