After 20 years in HR across Asia Pacific and Japan, that's the role I've grown most comfortable in: the trusted partner in the room who listens carefully, asks the right questions, and then gets to work to solve problemsMy career has spanned both sides of the HR world. I've been the HRBP sitting alongside business leaders in India, Australia, Malaysia, and Singapore - working through org design, workforce planning, M&A integrations, and the quieter but equally important work of building cultures where people actually want to stay. And I've built and led regional and global Talent Acquisition function from the ground up, driving the kind of transformation that moves hiring from reactive to strategic.Some of what I'm proud of:→ Built a 20+ person Global TA Shared Services function supporting NAMER, LATAM, EU, and APAC→ Achieved 90% in-house hiring across APJ, YoY → Led M&A integrations across PE-backed and publicly listed companies in Malaysia→ Delivered a 30% reduction in time-to-fill and 40% increase in candidate applications through TA transformation→ Served as Country HR Head for Malaysia involving large organisational restructuringWhat drives me is simple: I believe the best HR work happens when you're genuinely curious about the business, not just the people function.
