Worked on various storage refresh and migration for Vplex backend storage systems. Worked on various Local and remote replication technologies for IBM and EMC Storage such as EMC – Snapshot/ Clone / SAN Copy / Mirror View / SRDF / and IBM - Snapshot/ Backup copy/ clone/ Metro Mirror/ Global Mirror /Global Mirror with change volumes. Pue Storage Replication Technologies, POD based replication. Administration, management and Troubleshooting of EMC SAN Storage array such as EMC VMAX, Powermax, EMC Vplex, EMC XIO, EMC Unity, EMC VNX, Storage systems, Pure Storage. Administration and Troubleshooting of IBM SAN Storage system such as, IBM SVC, IBM XIV storage. Administration and Troubleshooting of HP 3PAR Storage system. Provisioning storage to Linux/ UNIX / Solaris/AIX, windows cluster and ESX servers from EMC & IBM array. Troubleshooting day to day SAN/Storage related issues and handling overall BAU activities. Storage planning and execution to new build and existing infra such as UNIX, Windows servers/clusters and VM Ware ESX environment. Migrated data successfully from SUN storage to EMC VNX 5300 using SAN Copy. Migrated data successfully from EMC VNX 5500 to EMC VNX 5600 using SAN Copy Work on Zoning and registered new HBAs as and when required. Configured different RAID groups, Storage Pools, Storage Groups, Mdisk groups and allocated Volumes / LUNs. Dealt with the situations like one-path-failure, trespassed LUNs. Non-disruptively Migrated LUNs from one RAID group to another to overcome the performance issues in SAN environment. Responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting and resolving routine issues like one path down, hosts not seeing storage, HBA failures, zoning and storage allocations. Administration and Troubleshooting of multi vendor SAN Switches such as Brocade and CISCO. Successfully completed various Project transition activities. Responsible for Capacity planning and performance tuning as and when required
