About Anupama Hegde

I am currently a Marketing Manager at L'Oreal India. Before this, I was Senior Marketing Manager at Kinnect, a 360-degree digital agency headquartered in Mumbai, India. I also have experience managing diverse client portfolios such as Parle, Foodhall, IIFL, JBL, Wildlife Reserves Singapore, Nivea and Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf across India and Singapore. Before I moved to a digital marketing career, I managed marketing (both online and offline) for British Council Singapore's entire suit of exams (including IELTS, a key competitor to TOEFL). My five year career has spanned education marketing, branding, digital design, content creation and distribution, social media marketing, search marketing, video marketing and e-commerce. Since graduating from the National University of Singapore (NUS) in July 2014, I have aimed to build a digital marketing career that takes inspiration from and has synergy with my humanities background. My education in the diverse yet inter-related fields of Sociology, Psychology and Behavioural Economics (and ensuing understanding of human behaviour) has helped me devise experiential marketing and branding strategies that drive business growth and optimise marketing ROI.
