About Anupkumar Chambhare

As a Surveillance Medical Officer with the World Health Organization (WHO), I played a key role in strengthening disease surveillance systems, identifying outbreaks, and responding to public health emergencies. My role also involved strengthening of immunization program. Additionally, I have project management experience in implementing community engagement program focused on early diagnosis and treatment of tuberculosis. I also have short term experience of managing the team in US healthcare project. My interest areas and skills are in surveillance, studying epidemics, outbreak investigation, and the use of information technology in public health. I am passionate about the use of data to inform public health decision-making and have worked to develop systems to facilitate real-time data analysis and sharing. In addition, my experience in project management has honed my skills in stakeholder engagement, team leadership, and cross-cultural communication.
