SKILLS SUMMARY:I am an innovative award-winning science educator experienced in classroom management, curriculum development, teaching, and mentoring a diverse student body. I currently teach AP Biology, Honors Biology. Over summer, I am an AP Biology Reader, and Faculty Special Program at Academic Talent Development Program (ATDP) UC Berkeley. One of my strengths is my ability to bring my extensive practical research experience into the classroom. I have successfully organized and conducted science camps, science fairs, and educational trips. I help students set up extracurricular clubs, like Science Olympiad neuroscience, medical, AI for Healthcare. I have a proven track record of helping students win at competitions like the Synopsis Science Fair, BioEHS Competition Berkeley, Brain Bee, and other science competitions. I am interested in teaching, science and education research, and curriculum developmentSummers are spent developing, and teaching UC A-G approved niche courses like Cognitive Neuroscience, and Introduction to Cancer Research as part of the Academic Talent Development Program, Graduate School of Education, U. C. Berkeley. I was also honored to teach and be part of the Future Ready Scholar Program at U. C. Berkeley ( in partnership with NAF.org) Summer of 2020. I am fortunate to be selected by ETS as an AP Seminar Reader (2024) and looking forward for the professional development opportunity I credit the fantastic teachers at schools my son attended with inspiring me to enter Education after many years of working as a biology. I love to use my past research experience to make science come alive for students via innovative hands-on projects and labs. I consider it an honor to teach and mentor the students to the next educational stage in their lives. I strongly believe in the equity of educational opportunities for all, celebrate the diversity of the student population in the Bay Area, and rejoice as students overcome challenges to grow into their potential.
