About Anusha Kulkarni

Hello All, I am Anusha Kulkarni, born and raised in Bangalore, India. After completing my Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, I gained valuable experience and knowledge about technology and corporate culture by working at Tata Consultancy Services for 2.7 years. What's next? In 2018, I moved to Ulm, Germany to pursue my Master of Science in Communications Technology, also known as 'C-Tech' in Ulm. Ulm is the city where I learned independence and integration. I was amazed by how students in Germany manage to juggle both studies and work, as in India, there is no concept of a working student. During my master's degree, I had the opportunity to work at Siemens Mobility and Hensoldt GmbH, where I expanded my knowledge in software development, particularly in C++, Python, and CST Microwave Studio. Additionally, it allowed me to build a professional network and become familiar with companies in my field. I gained 10 months of experience as a working student. In India, universities assist students in securing job placements, whereas in Germany, individuals are responsible for their career paths. KADE GmbH was my first company as a full-time employee, where I worked as a Software Developer specializing in C++ for Wireless Communication Testers. It was a fulfilling experience, and I had the chance to partake in various cultural events, such as Barbecue parties and Oktoberfest. However, life and career must go on. Given the strong ties between Germany and the automotive industry, working in the ever-growing field of Audio Technology and Infotainment Systems was a natural choice for me. Joining Harman Becker Automotive Systems as a Hardware Validation Tools Engineer marked an excellent start to 2023. Aside from my professional pursuits, I enjoy cooking, although I'm not particularly eager to eat (I know, it's weird). My other hobbies include art & crafts, creating travel albums, and practicing yoga. One of the greatest advantages of living in Europe is its central location, which makes traveling to new places incredibly convenient. My partner and I share a passion for travel, although we tend to stick to a strict budget. We see ourselves as travelers rather than tourists. So far, I have had the opportunity to visit several countries - Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria, Greece, Italy, Vatican City, Liechtenstein, Egypt, Spain, Turkey, Bulgaria, Serbia, Montenegro, Switzerland, Albania, Portugal, Hungary, Jordan, Malaysia, Indonesia to name a few :)
