About Anusuiya Singh

At present, I am working as a post doctoral researcher at Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María. Prior to joining this position I worked as project research assistant at National kaoshiung University of science & Technology. I finished my PhD in the biorefinery group on “Development of a bioprocessing technique for Lignocellulosic enzyme production” at the Autonomous University of Coahuila, Mexico. My PhD Thesis work was focused on Comparative analysis of Agave Bagasse generated from different tequila producing processes on the basis of cellulose percentage by Autohydrolysis pretreatment, enzymatic hydrolysis, and enzyme production by solid state fermentation. I have 11 research articles published in SCI journals to my credit. Overall, I have 7 and half years of research experience. Prior to my doctoral studies, I was working as Project Assistant at R&D Centre of Indian Oil Corporation, India on “Cellulase enzyme production and scaleup for biofuel application”. This Centre is one of the pioneers in India who are involved in cellulosic ethanol production in India. I have acquired the research experience of 3.5 years in this biorefinery research group, where I was mainly associated with fungal cellulase enzyme production at bioreactor level. Besides bioprocessing, I have also gained experience in improving fungal strains for hyper-cellulase productions through random mutagenesis.
