About Anvir Thandi

Currently working as an Operational Management and Food Safety Specialist with Steritech in British Columbia. Previously worked as a full time Environmental Health Officer with Fraser Health Authority in Surrey, BC. I am a Certified Public Health Inspector (Canada), having completed the Board of Certification reports and exam. Graduated from British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) in June of 2021 and obtained a Bachelor of Technology in Environmental Health with Distinction. Prior to attending BCIT, completed a bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences with a concentration in Population and Quantitative Health, at Simon Fraser University. During undergraduate studies at SFU, managed a successful local restaurant in the Lower Mainland, mentored aspiring Health Science first year students, and volunteered as a team member at the BC Cancer Agency. Former varsity athlete, having played high school soccer as well as rep soccer with the local community teams. Interests include soccer, American football, travelling, and the stock market. Fluent in English and verbally fluent in Punjabi and Hindi.
