About Anzar Mangera

The changing climate of modern technology constantly motivates engineers to explore more efficient and innovative designs, often due to a demand for efficiency or sustainability. Growing up during this age of technology, I was inspired to pursue a career in this extraordinary field. My interests urged me to research how engineers apply science and math to design and manufacture not only transportation structures, but also simple objects we use in our day-to-day lives. After years of tenacity and hard work, I achieved a First-Class Honours in Aerospace Engineering. I am currently searching for graduate programs, as I love to learn and take on new challenges to further expand my skill set. I am proficient in computer-aided design (CAD) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) in software such as SolidWorks, CATIA and ANSYS. This is as a result of countless hours of experience during my academic career as well as providing freelance design work for large corporations such as Europlast and Eurogarages limited. My heart strong passion for aviation has also led me to gain a deep understanding of aerodynamic and hydrodynamic principles demonstrated in my dissertation. I have the experience of being placed in problematic situations and being tasked with finding alternative, ‘outside of the box’ solutions. I strive to further better myself and succeed in every task I do. I do not allow myself to accept second best; I push myself to the absolute limit to reach the top in everything I do. Outside of academia, I prefer to unwind in the outdoors through camping, fishing and occasional target shooting. These hobbies were largely influenced by my time spent and volunteering at the Army Cadet Force during my youth. So, for those of you who have made it to the end, I ask you, provide me with the opportunity to prove my worth and become a vital asset to your institution. I will thrive and succeed, all I need is the opportunity.
