Aonghus McCarthy Solicitors was founded by its principal solicitor, Aonghus McCarthy, in 2012. Aonghus graduated from University College Cork with First Class Honours in both his BCL degree and a Masters in Criminal Justice. In 2008, while completing his Masters thesis, he was awarded the top score nationally in the FE1 entrance exams—out of over 900 candidates. He subsequently secured a highly sought-after traineeship with Ireland’s largest corporate law firm.
