Working towards the betterment of a community, by contributing to the society in a fruitful way, delivering professional services bound by ethical values and guidelines of a workplace. Career goals:My long term goal is to gain professional excellence in the tasks done and working in collaboration within a team towards a determined goal. I am a Social Service Worker Gerontology intern at Sheridan College, Davis Campus who will be graduating in April 2022. I have a B.Sc. degree in Nursing and I am an internationally trained registered nurse from Delhi, India. I have also done Medical Laboratory technician course at Biztech College, Mississauga. I have previously worked in multispecialty hospitals, primary health care centers and Mental health hospitals and rehabilitation centers. I am presently volunteering as a practicum student at Ivan Franko Homes, Mississauga which is a Ukrainian based retirement home. I am registered with the Indian Nursing Council of India and Delhi Nursing Council. I have done various certification courses like GPA (Gentle Persuasive Approach for Dementia care), Advance nursing care and Palliative care, Human rights certification course, Tri-policy statement council certification, surge learning course on social service work ethics and responsibilities. I have attended various seminars and conferences on nursing care and health management. I have also volunteered for public health centers and medical camps. I have proficiency dealing with Microsoft Office, Google, WebEx, Zoom, WhatsApp, Microsoft Team, Bongo, Facebook, Instagram and many other online software applications used for facilitating client needs and program designing at any organizational set up.
