About Apefa Adjivon

Named one of 100 Black Women to watch in Canada for leadership in Black youth advocacy & inclusion. Honoured as one of 100 accomplished Black Canadian women for work in Black youth advocacy & policy making. An Equity, Diversity and Inclusion advocate with special experience building BlPOC-friendly spaces. As a young woman passionate about program design and youth empowerment, she has supported numerous organizations in the creation of youth mentorship programs, supporting over 300 young people in the Greater Toronto Area. As a speaker and advocate, she has addressed over people worldwide, discussing youth empowerment, gender equity, and social justice. For her work in program design and her impact in advocacy, she has been recognized one of 100 Accomplished Black Canadian Women, one of the top 22 Under 22 most inspiring collegiate women by Her Campus, a top 30 Under 30 Sustainability leader by the Corporate Knights, a Youth of UNESCO, and a top youth social innovator by the United Nations, the British High Commissioner to Canada, and the British Council.
