About Apollo Wolfersberger

I am a Mechanical Engineer that is searching for problems to solve. I thrive where concept and theory must meet reality and practical application. My experience in multiple trades such as carpentry, electrical, farming, and HVAC has given me a lot of varied experience. The highlight of all these trade experiences is a developed perspective of how the practical side of construction and engineering theory must coexist. In academia, I was involved in two main undergraduate research topics. The first is leading a research group focused on mathematical modeling of Fourier's Law of heat transfer with the use of software such as Matlab. The second is microfluidics, using electromagnetic fields as the means of transportation. This also included manufacturing the specialized micro-scaled molds for the lab utilizing the process of micro-lithography.
