About Apoorva Mathur

I am currently pursuing PhD in Law from Rashtriya Raksha University. I have competed LL.M. in Criminal and Security Law from Gujarat National Law University in 2020 and qualified the UGC-NET for Assistant Professor of Law in December 2019 while pursuing LL.M. I joined the Rashtriya Raksha University, Gandhinagar (erstwhile Raskha Shakti University) in November 2020 as Assistant Professor (Research). I am currently appointed as Assistant Professor of Law at the School Criminal Law and Military Law, Rashtriya Raksha University, where I teach criminal and security laws to UG and PG students from Law, Police Administration, Security Management and Criminology. I am also the Nodal Officer responsible for coordinating and organising Capacity Building Programmes for C.B.I. Law Officers. I specialise in Criminal and Security Laws with a keen interest in the statutory framework to Counter Terrorism and Drug trafficking in India. I have experience of teaching personnel from various law enforcement agencies including prosecutors from CBI and NIA and Police officials of various ranks from state police forces such as Gujarat, Tripura, Meghalaya, Daman & Diu etc.
