As an R&D specialist at IMEC, I led exploratory research projects by applying first-principles thinking. Well versed in Machine learning, Computational imaging, design automation algorithms and physical design implementation at advanced technology nodes (13+ years’ experience, 40+ CPU/GPU/IP implementations). Adept at managing multiple simultaneous projects while interfacing and mentoring global design teams. Expertise in conceptualizing and developing Machine learning models, leading flow development and devising design automation strategies with focus on efficiency. Accomplished at technical assessment, mentorship, and identification of the right candidates. • As an exploratory research lead at IMEC: I have conceptualized Machine learning-based solutions to address critical computational imaging problems leading to multiple talks, papers and 1 patent • As an Advanced technology driver at Synopsys: Devised methodologies for first generation implementation at Samsung (14nm, 10nm and 28FDSOI) and TSMC (N20 and 16FF nodes). • As a Design closure expert – physical design experience: Demonstrated excellence in surpassing aggressive performance/power targets for ARM cores, GPU’s, Tesla’s automotive core, and full chip SOC designs. • As a Trainer: Trained 20+ Samsung designers for advanced node implementations delivering best practice sessions.
