I'm a PhD level Microbiologist by training with a background in Energy and Environmental Systems. 🧬 During my dissertation, I gained experience with molecular biology, untangleling microbe-microbe interactions. At UTIA, I transitioned to focusing on plant-microbe interactions, gaining experience plant cultivation and fluorescent techniques. 🧫 At ORNL, I deconstructed community dynamics using synthetic communities and 'omics approaches. 🤝 In my current role, I assist research faculty in forming collaboration, finding strategic funding, and research development. I enjoy pursuing opportunities to learn techniques outside my field, hone my science communication skills, and form collaborations.
