Background

About April Matta

At Marten Transport, my focus is on refining driver recruitment, enhancing training protocols, and deploying strategic operations management to steer our team towards excellence in the transportation sector. Having orchestrated the review and auditing of over 100 driver files weekly, I've contributed to significant cost savings and optimized hiring practices. My efforts have leveraged operations management and team building to save the company an average of $1 million annually. My role extends beyond internal processes; it involves cultivating robust relationships and implementing versatile, time-efficient processes for onboarding new employees. This approach not only reflects my commitment to service quality but also underscores a deep understanding of logistics intricacies. I am detail-oriented with 11+ years of experience supporting full-cycle employee onboarding, file auditing, HRIS management, and investigative vetting processes. I have proven my ability to manage high-volume employee records, execute compliance reviews, and support HR operations across platforms. I am highly functional in remote work environments, open-source intelligence (OSINT), and confidential personnel evaluation.
