I have been in full-time chiropractic practice for forty-four years. My practice has been located in Los Altos for forty-two years. My original focus of practice was Applied Kinesiology, combined with Sacro-Occipital Technique, and Activator Technique. I also studied craniopathy and nutrition. Over the years my practice has become more gentle and subtle. I help people whose conditions have been difficult to solve. People with chemical and environmental sensitivities. People who had tried many other practitioners and treatments without successfully relieving their symptoms. What has worked for my patients is gentle cranial work as well as research into their physical and nutritional habits. Often the gentle cranial work along with coaching in lifestyle changes have led to increased well-being and hopefulness for folks who had been very discouraged. Each patient is very important to me and we learn together what will be helpful to get them back on track. In recent years I have done quite a bit of advanced study in the realm of inflammation and gluten sensitivity and I bring this knowledge to my work with patients daily. I've also studied autoimmune conditions and blood sugar handling problems which are frequent topics in my practice. I coach patients with osteoporosis and osteopenia - conditions which benefit greatly from nutrition and exercise. It is exciting for me to be able to offer information to patients which can, with commitment, change the course of their health in the rest of their lifetime!
