Background
About April Teng
I’m an interdisciplinary publishing professional with a background in Information Management & Information Systems (BSc) and anthropological cross-disciplinary research (MSc). Blending data processing and sociological research expertise, I’ve been fortunate to gain over four years of experience in publishing, and now serve as Chief Section Managing Editor at MDPI, where I also work as a group leader to coordinate a local team. Having studied and worked across Mainland China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Romania, and Serbia, I strive to leverage my cross-cultural insights to contribute effectively at the intersection of information science, social sciences, and academic publishing.
