I started my journey in college as a medical assistant, and fell into a roll as a certified pharmacy technician. I have gained ten years experience in retail and long term care pharmacy. I am knowledgeable with paper and electronic medical records, insurance, and data entry, I have put five years of experience under my belt in a busy hospital emergency room, maternity ward, and outpatient registration areas. I have been a Specialized Patient Care Technician in the PCU for over a year, and love working with my patients. I realized while working in long term care pharmacy that I missed interaction with patents, so I decided to go where they were. It was one of the best choices I have made. So good in fact, that it pushed me into making the decision to go back to college to obtain a nursing degree. When I am not working, at school, or volunteering in the ER, I enjoy hiking, camping, and spending time with my family. I'd love to connect with you!
