About Aqib Khan

With 7 years of experience spanning sustainability, engineering, project management, and data analysis in the automation sector, I bring a technical edge and a passion for real-world ESG transformation. Starting with a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering and a two-year journey on IMI’s Global Graduate Scheme—including six months working in Germany—I’ve built a career shaped by cross-cultural collaboration, practical problem-solving, and a systems approach to sustainable innovation. I've led ESG disclosures (CDP, GRI, S&P, EcoVadis), developed site and sector-level decarbonisation plans, and built dashboards that make sustainability KPIs tangible and actionable. I’ve also partnered directly with customers through Growth Hub projects—listening, learning, and co-creating solutions that deliver impact. Currently, I’m expanding my knowledge through a Level 7 apprenticeship and MSc in Leading Sustainable Business at Cranfield University, combining academic rigour with industry insight to accelerate progress where it counts. I believe the intersection of sustainability, data, and engineering holds the key to meaningful change—and I’m here to help drive it. Let’s connect and explore bold ideas for a smarter, more sustainable world. I’m passionate about building a future where automation and sustainability aren’t at odds—but in sync. Let’s connect and collaborate to make that future possible.
