Background
About Arafat Syed
With over a decade of escalating responsibilities in sales operations and distributor management, I've honed a sharp acumen for driving growth and market share, specifically within Sony's dynamic Middle Eastern and African markets. My mission is to continue propelling Sony’s headphone category to new heights, leveraging a profound understanding of diverse market dynamics. My strategy-focused approach, combined with a dedication to fostering collaborative relationships, aligns seamlessly with Sony’s commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction.Since taking the helm as Head of Headphones for the MEA and CIS regions in May 2024, my team and I have maintained a leading market share, skillfully navigating the competitive landscape. We've launched new products to secure initial market penetration, and I've implemented the PDCA cycle to strengthen our partnerships and sales performance. The expertise in retail and distributor management, gleaned from my previous role as Head of TV/HAV in Riyadh, continues to underpin my success in enhancing Sony's market presence and achieving our sales objectives.
