About Aran Browning

I’ve been immersed in human-centred design for over 10 years. I started by using music to give people a voice: I co-created a multimedia piece with a community choir, telling the story of their 40-year journey. Radio 3 played it and interviewed me about it. As a service and systemic designer I have: Done user research with hundreds of people virtually and in-person across Scotland. Created and facilitated workshops, design sprints, and educational courses. Developed operating models and service catalogues for large organisations. I love making things click for people. I can diplomatically help, influence, and persuade people to make sense of their and others' experiences, the services people use, deliver, support, or manage, and the systems around them. I’m curious about how things work and feel, from personal pain points to systemic complexity, because I want to co-design good services that work for everyone. I use play and games to bring people together, surface thinking, and spark conversations. Let’s chat!
