Building Engineer | Focused on BIPV and Energy-Efficient Building Design I am a Building Engineer passionate about integrating renewable energy technologies into modern architecture, particularly through Building Integrated Photovoltaic (BIPV) systems. My work is dedicated to designing and simulating innovative solutions that bridge the gap between energy efficiency and architectural aesthetics, contributing to a more sustainable built environment. Currently, I am a Junior Researcher at Eurac Research in the Renewable Energy department, collaborating on cutting-edge projects in BIPV design, energy modeling, and system integration. This role allows me to explore my passion for digital innovations in building energy systems, leveraging my technical knowledge to develop impactful, real-world solutions. While my professional journey began with a strong focus on structural design, including expertise in steel, reinforced concrete, and masonry structures, my academic and career path has evolved to focus on energy efficiency and renewable energy systems. Completing my master’s degree in Building and Architectural Engineering at Politecnico di Milano—one of the world’s top-ranked universities—equipped me with advanced knowledge and skills to transition into this dynamic and growing field. My ultimate goal is to establish myself as a professional in BIPV and building energy systems, continuously expanding my expertise and contributing to projects that shape the future of sustainable construction. I am committed to pushing boundaries, working collaboratively, and making a meaningful impact on the integration of renewable energy solutions in the built environment.
