I’m a current student working on my degree in finance, my previous employment was The Home Depot, and before that Space Center Houston. I’ve worked in customer service in both my roles which has taught and improved my view on what qualifies as expecting customer service. At The Home Depot I learned about cash handling and customer service, as I worked at the service desk. I’ve learned to open credit card accounts, place orders on will call, open accounts and lines of credit as well as general returns and basic customer assistance. In high school I volunteered for Armand Bayou Nature Center in which I helped children learn about local wildlife and preservation of local species, we helped kids canoe, go fishing, catch bugs, and often hand local live reptile and avian shows!
