About Aravind Narasipur

I am an independent consultant in the field of education and training with 28 years of combined experience in industry and academia. My teaching at MBA institutes focuses on Business Statistics Quantitative Methods and HR Analytics. My training programmes for corporates focuses on training employees in Data Analysis. I have conducted training programmes in Data Analysis for leading companies. I am also a technical reviewer for an international book on business statistics by internationally known authors based in the USA. My teaching approach focuses on conceptual understanding and their practical applications with plenty of real-world examples and data sets and some demonstrations. For example in a topic like regression degrees of freedom is not just introduced as n-k--1 but students are told what it practically means in the realm of modeling. The USP of my teaching is the demystifying of complex concepts with minimal focus on equations! This approach has been received well by students over the years. I can contribute significantly in the following areas: - Teaching Business Statistics Quantitative Techniques and HR Analytics at Management programmes as a visiting faculty; - Conducting training programmes for organizations who want to train employees in Data Analysis / Predictive Analytics [employees can be from diverse backgrounds]; - Providing data analysis services on a one-to-one basis to people doing academic projects [MBA M. Phil etc.]
