More than twenty years of professional career where I have gained an in-depth knowledge and expertise of United Nations international procurement, contract principles and ability to address broader issues of procurement in terms of positive impact at stakeholder level- Experience on Food commodities Management Strategy developing, Sourcing Strategy and Category Implementation Plan - Able to plan, direct, deliver and handle complex procurement and contracting of a diverse range of food commodities, goods and services. Capability to developed the ability to review, compile procurement service strategy and recommend changes in procurement policies and procedures. I have extensive experience on food procurement and very strong grasp of food quality assurance process- Long and proved experience on food procurement and with a strong technical knowledge on ERP and procurement digital platforms,(SAP, Coupa), food quality assurance checking and process. Developed skills on food market intelligence collection and processing and compiling recommendation for informed decisions of procurement authority- Innovative approach to programme design and re-design to move procurement to a strategic level and solutions- Strong leadership and supervisory skills with proven experience on leading many technical and professional procurement teams in a a number of countries in emergency response operations or in large scale procurement operations. I have adopted an open minded, ready to change and client service approach, which has enabled me to perform procurement functions in complex operations with tight schedules and continuous changes of priorities. I come from a national background where culture diversity, respect for other communities and gender balance are strong values- Procurement staff capacity building is one of my strong activities in my work. I always support my staff to grasp any opportunity to enhance their knowledge and skills in their professional life. I believe on multi skills and multi-function staff as a modern concept that is in the best interest of the organization and staff. I have implemented this approach in the last ten years of my work.
