With more than 19 years experience in the field of Social Safeguards in Infrastructural consultancy firm with the responsibility for identification of mechanisms to bring sustainable infrastructural development and improve project designs to meet the needs of different stakeholders I have an experience of working with various clients and funding agencies i.e. World Bank, ADB, JICA, NHAI, MoRTH and PWD. Working with various funding agencies and various functional areas like Social Expert, Resettlement and Rehabilitation, Land Acquisition etc. Conducted social impact assessments; resettlement and rehabilitation activities; stakeholder consultations and meetings; Free Prior Informed Consent (FPIC); indigenous people development planning; monitoring and evaluation in development sector. Conduct and lead the social screening, scoping, baseline & socio-economic surveys, for the projects to assess the impacts on the people, properties and loss of livelihood and to establish the benchmark for monitoring of R&R activities. I have been involved in assessing the impact of the project on the poor and vulnerable groups along the project road corridor; based on the identified impacts, develop an entitlement matrix for the project affected people; preparation of implementation budgets, sources and timing of funding and schedule of tasks. Identifying responsibility of tasks, institutional arrangements and personnel for delivering entitlement and plans to build institutional capacity; preparation of internal and external monitoring plans, key monitoring indicators and grievance redress mechanism. Assist in land acquisition facilitation to CALA under the provisions of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act 2013. Public Consultation and sensitization of people about the requirement of actual owner of properties. Carry out identification of Training needs and Trainees for IRP Implementation. Planning and Implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities and performing role in the implementation process and in order to motivate villagers and monitoring the progress of CSR Implementation.
