As Tax Manager I am responsible for the reviewing of tax numbers and review federal and state tax returns for the US partnerships which are engaged in Private Equity and Hedge Funds. Assist the US investors in understanding the US tax compliance and help them report and prepare the tax return as a team. US tax compliance consists of reviewing the Sch K-1, Federal and State Tax return, foreign form and efiling the forms. Apart from client related work, I involve in meeting with US & UK managers in understanding the engagement economics and Scheduling.>> Apart from US compliance work I am also the lead for a group of 14 members. As a lead I involve in their career development and motivate them during long hours of work. Give them timely feedback and help them overcome their challenges. Encourage the team members to take up task from various opportunities' available and help them reach their target.>>Actively participate in taking training for Staff and senior group every year. Also train the engagement teams on engagement specific tax matters and tools. Apart from tax technical topics, I also conduct soft skill training.
