15 years of public health experience including 5 years of international experience in research, and programs on reproductive health, nutrition, growth, maternal, child and neonatal health, non communicable diseases, and HIV/AIDS, Micronutrient Deficiencies and Supplementation, Fortification strategies, Zinc and Mortality Trials. • Program Development, Implementation and Management: Led large scale health and nutrition programs in India, Bangladesh and Tanzania, Monitoring and Evaluation framework including independent evaluation, • Research and Development: Large scale research projects, RCTs, operational research in nutrition and maternal health, pre-eclampsia, diabetes, hypertension. • Business Development: Proposal, Innovations in technical and service delivery models, conceptualization of new ideas and business development, competitive grant development and bidding, Awarded Grand Challenge India Award on Innovations in Preterm Birth • Strategic Planning in research and thematic areas development aligning to program and policy in sync with organizational goals and vision • Technical and Leadership experience: in project design, protocol, monitoring frameworks, program evaluation, implementation of interventions. • Leading a large scale project on innovative oral HIV testing to improve early screening of pregnant women and strengthen PMTCT and implementation of Option B+ regime • Management experience: team of 10-12 professionals at head office, implementation teams at field sites in different country settings • Dissemination and learning: Effective generation and presentation of project learning at different forums including presentations, conferences, papers • Large scale projects on interventions for reduction of umbilical cord infections, neonatal deaths, infant and maternal deaths under Johns Hopkins School of Public Health.
