About Archi Roy

As an experienced MBA and master's in chemical engineering, I am seeking challenging and rewarding opportunities in project engineering, technical sales engineering, and process engineering. I have a background in the refinery and catalyst industry, with expertise in global coordination for technical equipment and client support during catalyst loading activities. In my current role as an Applied Catalyst Technology Engineer at Clariant Produkte (Deutschland) GmbH, I take ownership of technical equipment, create new technical equipment such as the pressure drop device, and submit project proposals. I also perform training for clients and colleagues globally, and regularly coordinate with E-level officers of the company. Previously, I served as a Research Assistant at Dupont, where I built and commissioned a RO pilot plant for RO membrane testing aimed at measuring organic fouling resistance of various test membranes. I also assisted in a wastewater treatment project by Dupont in Tarragona, performed DOE for organic fouling, and read scientific journals and papers. In my role as a Technical Service Engineer at VTEQ, I provided technical support to clients, reduced product repair time by 20%, and provided technical training to international distributors to help our end customers. I also worked with the commercial team to set business strategies for India, used Sage Murano to generate orders and sales of spare parts, and maintained records for stock of spare parts in the workshop and warehouse. In addition to my engineering expertise, I am highly skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, SAP MM, CRM, AutoCAD, Python, and C. I am also fluent in English and Hindi, with very good command in Spanish and working knowledge in German. With a strong foundation in refinery and catalyst operations, I have previously served as a Shift In Charge for Fluidized Catalytic Cracker Operations at Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited, where I was responsible for team management, co-ordination with instrumentation, mechanical, and electrical maintenance, and DCS operation and field inspection. I also created SOPs and conducted regular knowledge sharing sessions with the crew. I hold a Master's in Chemical Engineering from Universitat Rovira i Virgili, Tarragona, an MBA from EU Business School, Barcelona, and a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering from West Bengal University of Technology, Kolkata. I am also a certified 6 Sigma Green Belt and a certified SCRUM Master
