About Archith Rajan

Completed my PhD from Symbiosis Centre for Medical Image Analysis(SCMIA),Symbiosis International University, Pune, India, guided by Dr. Madhura Ingalhalikar, where I studied musicality and its neural correlates. After obtaining a Master’s degree in Bio-medical Engineering from VIT Vellore, I’ve worked as a Project Assistant at the Language, Literacy and Music Lab of Dr. Nandini C Singh, National Brain Research Centre, Gurugram, India. Most of my prior experience has been in the acquisition and analysis of Diffusion Weighted Images (DWIs). Apart from music perception related studies, I’ve also had the opportunity to work on Parkinson’s disease and other Parkinsonian disorders, and in PET imaging of gliomas, both in collaboration with NIMHANS,Bengaluru.Furthermore, my post PhD career has kickstarted recently, where I explore new realms of medical imaging and magnetic resonance spectroscopy in glioblastoma, under the tutelage of Dr.Sanjeev Chawla and Dr.Suyash Mohan, as a postdoctoral researcher.
