About Arcturus Phoon

Ever since I was a kid, I’ve been drawn to solving puzzles—whether in video games, on paper, in 3D, or even in escape rooms. Little did I know that product development would allow me to turn this passion into a career. Featured in my banner is a microfluidics chip I designed as part of a human breast tissue phantom project. This endeavor epitomized everything I love about product development: understanding user needs, clarifying the problem, ideating solutions, conducting research, performing proof-of-concept testing, creating prototypes, refining the design, and ultimately fabricating a final product that advances scientific research. Through this project, I combined my expertise in chemistry, physics, materials science, and manufacturing to solve a complex challenge that had stumped others in the field. This experience not only solidified my love for product development but also highlighted my ability to tackle multifaceted problems with innovative solutions. Today, I am eager to bring this passion and expertise to a product development role where I can create meaningful, user-centered solutions that solve real-world problems.
