About Arden Shostak
Hello! I am a student at Rhode Island School of Design. I am majoring in sculpture and minoring in literary arts and studies. I am expected to receive my BFA in June 2022. Some of my past experience includes working as an editor with The College Hill Independent, working as a teaching assistant at RISD, and interning with the archives and research department of the Trustees of Reservations. I am looking forward to upcoming positions as an intern with the residency program at the Woodstock Byrdcliffe Guild and as a resident artist with the Visual Arts Center of Richmond. I hope to supplement these exciting opportunities with other forms of employment. I am particularly interested in metalworking and foundry work, jewelry fabrication, editorial or writing work, set design, and artist assistant opportunities. I am motivated, enthusiastic, and I love to work with a team. I'm looking forward to what the future will hold after I graduate this spring!
