About Arek Majchrowski

Arek is a project manager/engineer with more than twelve years of experience in the metallurgical industry including specialization in the design and construction of smelting furnaces. He has experience in all phases of project development from feasibility studies to detailed design, equipment supply and implementation. His experience includes managing large, multi-disciplinary engineering teams undertaking detailed design of metallurgical furnaces and peripheral equipment with heavy emphasis on operational support, risk management and on-site technical support. He has extensive experience in the platinum group metal (PGM) industry and has been broadly involved in the design, optimization and rebuilds of PGM smelting furnaces operated by Anglo American Platinum and Sibanye-Stillwater. Arek has recently completed numerous successful projects as Project Manage/Engineer at sites around the world including South Africa, Sweden and Australia.
