About Arghavan Heydari

Driven by curiosity and a passion for understanding the human microbiome, I am pursuing a master’s degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg. My journey started with a deep interest in medicine, particularly surgery, which evolved into a fascination with the unseen world of microbes and their role in human health. Through my internships in virology and immunology, I gained hands-on experience with cell culture, FACS, ELISA, and molecular biology techniques, reinforcing my desire to explore the microbiome’s impact on immune regulation and disease. I am currently refining my data analysis skills to bridge experimental work with meaningful insights. Beyond research, I am passionate about animal welfare, international politics, and mental health awareness. I am always open to discussions, collaborations, and opportunities in microbiome research, host-pathogen interactions, and applied immunology.
