About Ari Ming

Ari Ming is a successful Bermudian Architect who is currently working as Director of Aerodrome Development and Technical Services at the Bermuda Airport Authority. Ari has also worked in the Government of Bermuda’s Architects Section for more than 15 years. As a Government Architect his role was to research, plan, design and manage projects and contracts on behalf of the Government and ultimately the tax payers of Bermuda. Ari was the President of the Institute for Bermuda Architects (IBA), from 2010 to 2015. The IBA is a charity organization that has been in existence for over 40 years and has a mandate to be the voice of Architecture in Bermuda. The IBA represents fourteen of the islands leading architectural firms and over a hundred members on matters such as the recent proposed legislative changes with the draft Architects Act, discussions with the Planning Department and other authorities having jurisdiction, other professional initiatives. Ari has been involved in many professional boards, committees, and associations including but not limited to being a member of the current Building Code Review Committee and a past member of the Economic Empowerment Zone professional group to establish guidelines for the development of North East Hamilton; a zone in which the Dellwood Middle School is a part of.
