About Ari Stjerna

Since reaching my Bachelor's Degree in Engineering at 2008 I have worked in the field of industrial automation. Starting from Satakunta University of Applied Sciences where I worked for two months for commissioning my Bachelor's Thesis design of 3D Machine Vision system for my thesis customer company. Following nearly four years I worked at Cimcorp Oy as control system software engineer; designing, implementing and commissioning logistics and warehouse automation solutions. Until august 2017 I worked as Research Engineer at Tampere University of Technology. One part of my work was to maintain and develop University’s Laser Application Laboratory. I participated in research projects by developing, constructing and setting up the research environments. For the actual research I was involved for control automation. Work assignments varied from wide-range covering the technologies from control automation, electronics, electrical automation and from specifications to designing and implementation. My most recent educational accomplishment comes from end of April 2017. A graduation from Tampere University of Technology as Master of Science in Automation Engineering. After graduating from Tampere University of Technology I rejoined the distinguished group of professionals building Intralogistic systems at Cimcorp.
