About Ari Weissfeld

As a Master of Science in Statistics student at The George Washington University, I am passionate about applying my statistical skills and knowledge to real-world problems, especially in the energy sector. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a minor in Statistics from the University of Maryland Baltimore County, where I developed a strong foundation in quantitative methods and analytical thinking. Before enrolling in the graduate program, I worked as a research assistant at Exeter Associates, a consulting firm that specializes in energy-related projects. There, I collaborated with senior staff on various tasks, such as market analyses, forecasting, cost-benefit analyses, and energy policy analyses, using software such as R, and Excel. I have experience in handling large and complex data sets, automating data collection and graph creation, and dealing with missing electricity data using imputation. I am motivated by the opportunity to contribute to the development of effective and sustainable energy solutions, and I value working with a diverse and supportive team that shares this goal.
