About Aria Taboada
Aria J. Taboada began her journey with violin at the age of 9. Through many experiences, she cultivated her love for performing and teaching music. She thrived studying violin under Angele Lawless. She began with small groups, then began performing with some prestigious orchestras. She spent a year with the Atlanta Youth Symphony, where she gained extensive knowledge on performing and music theory. She went on the play for the Cobb Symphony for a short time, then did various free-lance work. She studied violin performance at Georgia State University under Dr. Christos Galileas, and sat principle second violin in the Georgia State University Orchestra. Her violin music has been featured on various albums, including Latin artists Seich Musica, and Country artist Alison Nichols. Though she enjoys performing, her real passion lies in teaching. She has over fifteen years of teaching violin and piano, and enjoys watching other musicians meet their goals of performing. She resides in Kennesaw, GA now where she teaches music full time.
