I got a PhD in Thermo-mechanical Energy Engineering at the Department of Industrial Engineering of the University of Padova. My research activity has been focused on- the experimental and theoretical investigation of condensation and vaporization of pure fluids and refrigerant mixtures inside small diameter channels for refrigeration and air-conditioning applications. Optical techniques have been also applied to better study the occurring phenomena- the experimental and theoretical study of latent heat storage systems with phase change materials (PCMs) in compressed air dryers- the experimental study of volumetric solar collectors employing nanofluids as base fluids- the experimental investigation of the gravity effect on the condensation heat transfer during an ESA Parabolic Flight Campaign.
