Dr. Aric Murphy is a highly specialized dual degree Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon with an emphasis in Pediatric Maxillofacial Surgery. After obtaining his Medical Degree & Surgical Residency training at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota he finished his formal surgical training at Oklahoma Health Science Center performing over 200 cases of Cleft Lip & Palate Surgery. Prior to his Medical & Surgical Training he obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree graduating Summa Cum Laude at Indiana University. But if you ask him, he bleeds purple as a Kansas State University alumni. He has attended, and plans to attend many more surgical mission trips to help children born with clefts. Thus far he has been to Guatemala & Vietnam on mission trips to surgically repair children born with Cleft Lip & Palate. On a more personal note, he became interested in helping children with clefts when his first cousin was born with a complete, unilateral cleft lip & palate.
